Eligibility & Draw Size: Any member of BHWGA may opt-in for the season- long individual NET single elimination match play tournament. Due to the nature of the event, the WIN Tournament is open to 32 players on a first-come basis. 

Payout: 8 Places

• Winner: $600
• Runner-Up: $300
• 2 Semifinalists: $100
• 4 Quarterfinalists: $40

Draw: Initial pairings will be randomly selected at the draw party. (Need not be present.) The brackets with updated results will be emailed to all and posted in the breezeway. Draw Party:  Sunday, September 29 4:00p - 6:00p. Location: 8513 Tulip Ct. 

Schedule: October through April. Arrange your match with your opponent. Approximately one match per 6 weeks. Reasonable flexibility will be allowed. 

• 1st round: October - November
• 2nd round: November - December
• Quarter Finals: January - February
• Semifinals: February - March
• Finals: April

Score Cards: Let the golf shop know the morning of your match and they will print out an official scorecard.

Handicap: Players will use their official handicap the day of their match and play off the lower handicap. (The higher handicap player will get their strokes minus the lower handicap player’s strokes. The lower handicap player does not get any strokes.) Confirm with your opponent it is correct, as no changes can be made once the match starts. The maximum handicap is 36.

Tees: All matches are played from the white tees. Putts can be given as this is match play. Caddies are NOT allowed. Coaching or advice of any kind is not allowed if/when paired with other players.

Special Rules: If your only option is to play during our allotted Thursday morning times, you either: must follow whatever rules apply to the Thursday game (putt out all 18 holes, finish each hole & all 18 holes, ringers, etc) OR officially withdraw from the Thursday game and just play your match where the USGA match play rules of golf will apply. Both players must agree how they will handle this or any other possible variations BEFORE teeing off. 

Disputes During Your Match: Call the golf shop for a ruling if you are unable to resolve any dispute in a timely and acceptable manner.

Tournament Committee: Knowing that something completely unexpected will most likely come up, contact the tournament committee consisting of Susie Keane, Becky Crowley, and Kevin Crawford who will then make the final decision.
